By using Short Hops you agree to these terms. Please read them. They are written in plain English. If you disagree with any part, you should stop using the service.
Short Hops (shorthops.uk) is a pub discovery and recommendation service for London, operated by Ashwin ("we", "us", "our"). Contact us at ashwin.ksv@gmail.com.
By accessing or using Short Hops — whether through the website, progressive web app, or any associated service — you confirm that:
If you are using Short Hops on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.
Short Hops provides a curated directory of London pubs, tools for discovering pubs near you, pub crawl planning, favourites, and community voting. The service is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice.
Pub information (addresses, ratings, opening hours, descriptions) is provided for general guidance only. It may not always be current or accurate. Always verify with the pub directly before travelling.
You may use core features of Short Hops without an account. An account is required to save favourites, store crawls, and cast votes. When you create an account you agree to:

Short Hops is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights you have as a consumer under UK law that cannot be excluded or limited.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Short Hops shall not exceed £50 (fifty pounds sterling). We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ashwin and any associates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of Short Hops in violation of these terms, your submitted content, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Short Hops at any time and for any reason, including breach of these terms, without liability to you. You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — shall do so.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or by email if you have an account. The "Effective date" at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continued use of Short Hops after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You and we both agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales to resolve any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Short Hops.
If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your home jurisdiction.
